Domain of Nazère

Located in the heart of Lomagne (Gers Department), between Fleurance and Lectoure, 3 km from the village of Saint-Clar, Domaine de Nazère is an old farm out in the countryside, which we spent three years restoring. Built in the 18th and 19th centuries, Nazère is a magical place where time appears to stand still. With its stone walls, hundred-year-old oaks, colours of wheat and sunflower in the summertime, scents of the earth and sounds of nature, Nazère is also a place of serenity where you can come to recharge your batteries. Our accommodation combines tradition with modernity, offering spacious, elegant and luminous rooms with a mix of rustic, homestead and contemporary furniture and high-tech equipment.

Come and stay with us, either in our guesthouse or our self-catering house. Let our restaurant introduce you to products from our vegetable garden and around the region, which we marry in generous, flavourful recipes taught to us by our elders or that we have gathered over the course of our travels, our encounters, and our reading.

Need a break? Take a stroll through the park, the orchard and the vegetable garden, read a book under the shade of one of our centuries-old oaks, enjoy a moment of reflection looking out over the valley, take a nap in the hammock, or stop a while on one of our dry stone terraces. You will always find a spot in the park to relax on your own unless of course, you would prefer to go for a walk through the surrounding countryside.

Need to move around? Dive into the swimming pool, challenge someone to ping-pong or tennis, hit some balls on the putting green, play a round of boules, or enjoy the scenery on a bike ride. Or hop in the car and set off for a flight in a microlight aeroplane (3 km away), a tour of the nearby medieval fortified towns, or take off on a hot air balloon ride, not to mention the thermal baths of Lectoure (18 km away). We can also organize theme packages (culinary workshops, gardening workshops, whatever suits your fancy).

In short, whether you want to spend a few nights in a guest house bedroom or enjoy a longer stay in the self-catering cottage, we are waiting to greet you in Nazère, to delight you during your holidays or weekend getaways.
